RULES FOR SHIPPING TO TRICKY STATES
AL – shipments directly to you are prohibited, however, your state allows us to ship wine to your local ABC store for pick-up. Each shipment requires a completed ABC form and either emailed or faxed to MacPhail Family Wines. Fill it out once with your first order and we will keep the information on file for future shipments.
AR – onsite orders ok, offsite orders (website, email) prohibited
DE – prohibited
IN - not eligible due to 3-tier system*
KY - not eligible due to production cap***
LA - we are unable to ship to LA due to distribution in the state
MS – prohibited
OK – one bottle shipping orders allowed onsite only, offsite prohibited
SD – prohibited
UT – prohibited
* 3-tier system of alcohol distribution is the system for distributing alcoholic beverages set up in the United States after the repeal of Prohibition. The three tiers are producers, distributors, and retailers. The basic structure of the system is that producers can sell their products only to wholesale distributors who then sell to retailers, and only retailers may sell to consumers. Producers include brewers, wine makers, distillers and importers.
